If this was helpful, don't hesitate to click Thanks button or even give me a rep Cars starts and runs fine, no warning on a dash and DTCs. I think this can be done when the new ECU is in the car too. While you still have it connected on bench, plug in VCDS cable and paste that coding number, which you saved before. Write both: modified eeprom (from donor ECU with immo of and checksums corrected) and flash (from original ECU immo off and DTCs disabled) files to donor ECU.ĥ. Disable immo in your modified flash file using IMMO17.Ĥ. Not sure if it was necessary, but that's what I did.Ĥ. Disable DTCs in flash file from your original ECU: P1570 (Engine Start Blocked by Immobilizer) and P0606 (VAG code 2783, Internal Control Module: Memory Check Sum Error). Flash memory checksum can be corrected using WinOLS or your flashing tool.ģ. EEPROM memory checksum will be corrected by IMMOFF17. After that disable immo in it and correct checksums in eeprom (I disabled it using IMMOFF17 tool). Frist of all, write down coding number from original ECU (if you still can connect to it) that was already in the car. This worked for me using used ECU with different sw and hw number, that was unclonable using MMS service.ġ.
